Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the unintentional introduction of ornamental species into the natural flora of Tobolsk. The city’s adventive flora has been replenished by 28 species due to the escape of cultivated species. The majority of ornamental species are terrestrial herbaceous perennials (54%). Mesohygrophytes are the most numerous ecological group (36%). The geographical structure is dominated by European, pluriregional, and Eurasian groups (a total of 89%), while the zonal structure is dominated by plurizonal species (57%). Based on the time of introduction, most species are kenophytes (86%). Based on the mode of introduction, all species are ergasiophytes. Based on the degree of naturalization, colonophytes predominate (54%). Of the total number of ornamental species, 8 are invasive (29%), and 5 are potentially invasive (18%). Based on the nature of their impact, species that influence the floristic composition of the plant community predominate.

Key words

Alien species, escapees from cultivation, biomorphological groups, ecological groups, geographic range, invasive potential.
