The Role of the Dynamo Sports Society in the Development of Physical Culture and Sports in the Kemerovo Region in the Post-War Period

Abstract
This article examines the development of individual sports by the Kemerovo Regional Council of the All-Union Physical Culture and Sports Society “Dynamo” based on a set of records from the Kuzbass State Archives. It is shown that the underdeveloped material and technical resources of the sports society hindered the improvement of athletic skills and the effective operation of sports sections. Several examples are provided to illustrate the development of certain sports and their associated achievements. It is established that organizational problems in the work of the Dynamo Regional Council led to uneven and inconsistent development of individual sports in the cities and districts of the Kemerovo Region.
